Social Networking Service Use Policy

The following is the management policy for social networking service accounts of the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as “F-REI Accounts”).

Information provided by the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation, including but not limited to updates to information available on F-REI’s website and its URL, will be posted.

3. Cautionary Notes

  • (1) We will not provide public access to the comments section of each F-REI Account.
  • (2) F-REI Accounts do not follow general accounts.
  • (3) Please refrain from using F-REI Accounts in any of the following ways. If the F-REI Account is found to fall under any of the following, we may block F-REI Account without prior notice to its user.
  • The F-REI Account violates laws and regulations.
  • The F-REI Account is contrary to public order and morals.
  • The F-REI Account infringes the rights of any third party, such as defamation, infringement of privacy or portrait rights, infringement of patent rights, design rights, or copyright or trademark rights, or causes any disadvantage to any third party.
  • The F-REI Account induces a criminal act, etc.
  • The F-REI Account causes damage or disadvantage to the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation or any third party.
  • The F-REI Account is found to use any expression that defames any third party.
  • The F-REI Account impersonates another user, a third party, etc.
  • The F-REI Account alters all or part of the information provided by the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation.
  • The F-REI Account is used for political, religious, or commercial purposes, etc.
  • The F-REI Account is considered inappropriate because it uses any indecent expression, etc.
  • Otherwise, the F-REI Account is considered inappropriate for disseminating information using social media from operational viewpoints.

The Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation assumes no liability for the following damage or any other damage caused in connection with the use of the F-REI Account by the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education and Innovation.

  • Damage caused to a user due to the user’s use of the F-REI Account or the user’s inability to use the F-REI Account.
  • Trouble between users arising in connection with the F-REI Account, or any damage caused to the users due to the trouble.
  • Any trouble between a user and a third party arising in connection with the F-REI Account, or any damage caused to the user and the third party due to the trouble.

This Policy may be revised without prior notice.
