Organization

In order to strategically promote R&D in the fields of Robotics, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, energy, radiation science and medicine and drug development & industrial application for radiation, and accumulation and dissemination of data and knowledge regarding nuclear disasters, F-REI has appointed external researchers with a high level of expertise in each field as heads of departments.

Directors are responsible for concretizing research subjects within their respective fields, coordinating and managing research approaches, and overseeing comprehensive research-related activities, including coordination efforts to secure future research groups for F-REI.
Deputy Directors assist Directors and also contribute by coordinating research subjects based on specialized expertise distinct from that of the Directors.
