Progress of facilities construction
In accordance with the Basic Concept for the Facilities of the Fukushima Institute for Research, Education, and Innovation approved by the Reconstruction Promotion Council on March 29, 2022, preparations by the national government are underway to provide permanent facilities for the stable, full-scale operation of F-REI.
Each facility is expected to enter the service when and as completed, with all facilities entering service no later than the end of fiscal 2030.

Facility construction process
Location of main premises
Kawazoe District, Namie Town was finalized as the location of the main premises of F-REI on September 16, 2022. (The scope of "urban facility" [research facilities] under the September 12, 2023 urban planning decision of Namie Town was updated.)
